This is a BOSS effect pedal.

I really like it. The reverb is cool and pretty easy to operate. When it comes to reverb, I prefer the "reverb for dummies" kind of units, which offers you a selection of different types of reverbs like Room1, Room2, Hall and Plate) instead of having to deal with the some ten or twenty parameters of a reverb.

The RV-3 has a delay built in too. You can achive pure delay (echo) sounds, pure reverb sounds and sounds with reverb and delay together.

It runs out of battery very fast ( a common problem with battery powered fx-units), a power adaptor is definately recommended.

A nice feature is the mono and stereo output. If you have the chance to try out an effect in stereo, go for it!
